Greetings from Jardin de Miramar! We have a variety of thematic venues that is sure to fit any children’s birthday celebration.
- for a fairy tale theme, we have the Paradiso with its dreamy gazebo and ethereal waterfalls;
-
for the little Senor and Senora in a historical setting, we have the Intramuros with fountains, fishes and bridge in its midst;
-
we also have the covered Plaza if cool-white pristine interior is your setting;
-
or, another option would be the 3-tiered Terraza under the canopy of a Mango tree with life size Santa Clauses to greet you;
-
and should you want a Barrio Fiesta in a mini-forest setting, we have the YlangYlang;
-
also, the airconditioned Sevilla with a theater stage where you can have your mascots or puppet show, having the feel of the outdoor garden with its muralled fern covered walls;
-
or choose the Pergola for private kiddie parties amidst the floral setting of the bougainvillas;
-
lastly,
Jardin de Miramar features an authentic antique wooden fishing boat
found in the Galera. It was artistically reconstructed into a play area. Together
with the other attractions in the Galera, children can go hide and
seek, go up and down the lighthouse and pyramid tree, run along the
bridges, and play with the monkey swings. The Galera was
used as a setting for children’s fashion in Gingersnaps newsletter of
May 2007; and a setting for a kiddie party in the Valentine blockbuster
movie “Close to You.”
For a minimal fee, you may want to include the live-in museum called the Casa Santa. It contains Jardin’s extraordinary
and massive “Santa” collection with over 2,000 Santas. It has Santa
Clauses in every imaginable size and configuration. Everything from
Santa blankets to a Chessboard with Santa figurines to Swarovski Santas
riddle every nook and cranny of the house. It even has life-size moving
versions of Mr. and Mrs. Santa singing Christmas carols. It
remains probably one of the largest Santa collection.
Last December
2004, it was a cover of Starweek; in December 2005, Jardin de Miramar
was featured on international television thru Associated Press; and in
October 2007, another international feature thru Reuters. On
local media, Casa Santa appeared in Rated K, Magandang Umaga Bayan,
Unang Hirit, Kids on Q, Boy & Kris, Cosmopolitan, Total Girl and
others. It is also oftentimes visited by school children in their field trips. It brings joy to everyone the whole year around!
